Services


WHAT'S INCLUDED?

The chef will shop, cook, and clean-up the kitchen. The prices listed with the menus cover the chef's fee, as well as all ingredients and our guarantee. Depending on your region and party size some additionnal charges may apply.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED?

The chef will not serve at the table. It is up to you and/or your guests to do it. It is the same for the washing-up. In general, what is not explicitly described is not included.

ARE COCKTAILS, WINE AND BEVERAGES INCLUDED?

While our chefs will be happy to make recommendations and suggestions for wine and cocktail pairings, we are currently unable to provide drinks with the menu. Unless otherwise mentioned, the prices you see do not include drink pairings.

CUSTOMIZATION AND SPECIAL REQUESTS

If you are having trouble finding the perfect menu, our chefs will be happy to make changes and swap out items to get things right. You can also email the butler at butler@oh-chef.com to get personalized recommendations from chefs who can create customized menus just for your event. Keep in mind this may impact the price.


Payment and Booking


IS MY BOOKING IMMEDIATELY CONFIRMED?

The chef will confirm the booking within 48 hours of your booking. In the unlikely event that the availability of the chef has changed, your butler will search for an alternative. If it doesn't suit you, you will be immediately fully refunded.

I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM MY CHEF, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Occasionally, in between slicing and dicing, our chefs can get a little overloaded, especially over the weekend. While most of the time our chefs respond very promptly, please feel free to contact us (butler@oh-chef.com) if it's taking a bit longer.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO SPLIT THE BILL BETWEEN GUESTS?

Yes, Oh-Chef launched "Split the Bill". You can find more information on the "Split the Bill" page.

CAN I GET A RECEIPT OR INVOICE FOR MY EVENT?

Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing all the details of your event including the amount charged. If you need an invoice with VAT, send us an email (butler@oh-chef.com) and the chef will prepare it for you.

CANCELLATION

Chefs prepare the event in advance and that implies certain non-refundable costs. According to our cancellation policy, if you cancel the event

  • more than 14 days before the date of the event, you will be fully refunded (except booking fee and payment costs: 3,5%);
  • between 72 hours and 14 days before the date of the event, you will be reimbursed 50%;
  • no refund is possible if you cancel less than 72 hours before the date of the Event.


Practical Questions and Last Details


WHAT IF MY KITCHEN IS TOO SMALL AND/OR INADEQUATELY EQUIPPED?

You will be surprised what one can do with a normal kitchen. Typically, our chefs only need an oven, a stove with 4 cooking plates, a microwave oven and a refrigerator. If the chef needs a special equipment, he will bring it or prepare in advance what cannot be done in your kitchen.

PLATING AND SERVICE

Normally our menus are designed to be served with a regular table service set.
